Lott Bullock
Oran “Lott” Bullock was raised in Williston, Florida and he is the sixth generation of his family to live in Levy County. He graduated from Williston High School in 2009. After graduating, he
obtained a bachelor’s degree in Food and Resource Economics from the University of Florida in 2014. In 2015 he received his master’s degree in Agribusiness, again from the University of
Florida. He then went on to attend the University of Florida for a third time to obtain his law degree and in 2018 he graduated from the University of Florida with his Juris Doctor. He is the
fourth generation in his family to obtain a graduate degree from the University of Florida.
After graduating law school, he worked as an Assistant Public Defender in the Fifth Circuit where he worked in Sumter County handling misdemeanor cases, kicking off his career as a trial attorney. In 2019 he began working as an Assistant Public Defender in the Eighth Judicial Circuit in Alachua and Levy Counties where he handled both misdemeanor and felony cases until 2022, where he tried many cases in both misdemeanor and felony court. After leaving the Public Defender’s Office, he spent a year litigating civil cases before making his move to Meldon Law. Lott prides himself on being a trial attorney, and he enjoys vigorously fighting for people in his community in the courtroom.
He enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time and can often be found in Gulf Hammock on the weekends spending time with his friends and family in the woods or on the water.
